The idea for the spider man jacket costume, as shown several times on screen and in comics, came to him from the worlds of wrestling and bobsleigh: the mask was borrowed from the wrestlers in the ring, and the leotards from bobsledders, skiers, and other athletes in tight suits. I'm not sure if we would try it on, but we understand Parker in his striving to create the most comfortable piece of equipment.
