Don't freeze up in person or over talk online
This is one of the simpler online dating laws. One of the pitfalls on online dating is doing so much talking online that there is nothing to talk about when you do meet up, thus killing the "real" phase of the relationship before it starts.
An easy way to solve make a phone call online this problem is to always have a new set of talking points available (read the newspaper for current events) and always ask questions. I have to sound sexist, but women love to talk, if you come armed with questions and events, conversation will flow with no problem. Remember to stay away from taboo topics like religion and politics.
