It would be best to keep your replacement cartridges handy before beginning the ink cartridge installation. First, if all, switch on your product.

Then open the cartridge cover.

After that, insert the new cartridge into the holder
Then close the cartridge cover
Lastly, lift the scanner unit and open the cartridge cover
Then press the ink cartridge down until it clicks into place.
Close the cartridge cover, and ink replacement is complete when you see a completion message on the LCD screen.
Always remember that if you remove an ink cartridge for later use, it is important to protect the ink supply area from dirt and dust in epson workforce 7720 printer and not touch the ink supply port or surrounding area.
