In order to connect your devices to access the internet, you must configure it. Connect the router and the modem through an Ethernet cable. Take another cable and connect your device to the router. Then, follow the steps mentioned below.
Steps to configure Netgear router:
? Connect to your wireless network using the Wi-Fi or you can use the Ethernet cable for configuring Netgear routers.
? Open the web browser and type 192.168.0.1.
? Now, enter your Net gear username and password to access router remotely.
? In case you haven’t changed, default username and password are, username: admin, password: password.
? You should be able to log in to your router and modify the settings.
