The Xfinity modem continuously sends the ranging request messages to the Cable Modem Termination System(CMTS) . It is managed by your Internet Service Provider to establish an internet connection. Then, the CMTS responds by sending the message back to the server. If it fails to send the message, you will face no ranging response received From timeout Comcast. It can be caused due to damaged cables or improper internet wiring. The device may be misconfigured. In order to fix the error, check the cables and replace them if necessary. Reset the device back to factory default settings.
