Vitamin B12 is an important nutrient that your body can't make on its own, so you have to eat it or take a supplement to get it.
People who are at risk of deficiency, like vegetarians, women who are pregnant or nursing, and others, may want to keep a close eye on what they eat to make sure they are getting enough.
If your body doesn't create enough intrinsic factor or if you don't consume enough vitamin B12-rich foods, you may develop a Vitamin B12 Deficiency.
Vitamin B12 is predominantly found in animal sources, particularly meat and dairy. However, for vegans, fortified foods can be excellent providers of this vitamin. If you are a vegetarian, use B12 Greenfood.
