Watching the news has become a torrent of bad news about our economy. They flood us with numbers representing the sinking stock market and the rising jobless rates (sorry for all the water analogies).
For many small business owners, these numbers are all too real. They fully understand the effects that this downturn has caused. They understand what it feels like to have to let good employee's go after years of dedicated service. The numbers shown on the TV screen are dollars out of their pocket. I have personally been witness to dozens of owners having to close their doors after being in business for decades.
This downturn has North American Bancard Agent devastated the lives of many hard working men and women and their families. To say that I am grateful for my job would be an understatement.
Many of these struggling businesses come to me. Most of them have already gone to the bank for help but have been turned away. I'm not faulting the banks for this. It is just the way it is.
