It's the mystic who influences the path of values, who presents something new and in so doing, changes the path of religion for the position quo. Actually, the mystic and the several supporters who assist in the delivery of the new message in many cases are rejected by culture only to be acknowledged following society has ruined them. The position quo is never anxious to be enlightened, unless it is they that are doing the enlightenment. Nevertheless, once an impassioned mystic is disposed of or ends into myth and their viewpoint has been modified to allow for the wiles of the position quo, culture is eager to just accept them but only within the given limits of those who seek control. An example is the adjustment of the viewpoint of Christianity, which lived within the bears of the loyal for a lot more than 3 hundred decades before Constantine the Great collected most of the ancient documents of the historical Christian philosophers and evangelists to add that of Jesus, the Nazarene.
