For a quick linksys re6500 setup, you can opt for its WPS process as this is the easiest method among the others. In fact, due to its less complexity, it is the most preferred method that users perform without any difficulties. So, if you are also going to set up your Linksys re6500, choose this method without any hesitation. Place the new Linksys extender closer to the current router to get a stable connection. Later, push the WPS buttons from both devices with a gap of a few seconds. Now, wait for a few minutes until you get the stable lights on both devices’ panels. When the setup is complete, relocate the extender to a different place but try keeping it within the router’s range. But, don’t place it near electrical appliances, metallic things, or thick concrete walls which can impede signal transmission.
