Hey travel buddies, just landed in LA and wanted to share my experience with the new hawaiian airlines terminal at lax (Terminal B, also known as Tom Bradley). For those planning a trip to the islands soon, here's the scoop:
Important update: Hawaiian Airlines moved from Terminal 5 to Terminal B in October 2021. So, don't get confused if you have older info!
First impressions: The Tom Bradley terminal is definitely a step up! It's modern, spacious, and has a more relaxed vibe compared to the hustle and bustle of Terminal 5. Plus, the Hawaiian touches throughout the terminal are a nice way to get into the island spirit before you even board.
Checking in: Hawaiian's check-in counters are located on Level 5. The process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are also self-service kiosks available if you prefer a quicker option.
Security: Security lines can be unpredictable, but my experience was decent. There are separate lines for TSA PreCheck and Global Entry, which can save you some time.
Gates and amenities: Hawaiian uses Gates 133-138 in the West Gates section of Terminal B. The gate area is bright and airy, with plenty of seating and charging stations. There are also a good selection of shops and restaurants to grab a bite or browse while you wait.
Baggage claim: Baggage claim for Hawaiian Airlines flights is on Level 1. It wasn't too crowded when I arrived, and my bags came out quickly.
Overall: The move to Terminal B has been a positive one for Hawaiian Airlines passengers. The new terminal is more comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable to navigate. So, if you're flying Hawaiian Airlines out of LAX, rest assured you're in good hands!

Download the Hawaiian Airlines app for real-time flight updates and mobile boarding passes.
Check the LAX website for live security wait times before you head to the airport.
Consider using public transportation or a rideshare service to get to LAX, as parking can be expensive.
