Spirit Airlines Fort Lauderdale TerminalTSA security checkpoints at FLL's Terminal 4 have been updated and are intended to efficiently handle high passenger traffic. Spirit Airlines advises arriving at least two hours prior to domestic flights and three hours prior to international flights in order to prevent delays. Before you go through security, make sure your ID and boarding pass are ready. There are expedited lanes for TSA PreCheck participants that let you get through security more quickly without taking off your shoes, belt, or laptop.
