New Crafting Resources
Path of Exile 2 introduces several new crafting currencies that allow for POE 2 Currency more targeted crafting. These resources can be earned through various in-game activities, such as completing quests, farming bosses, or trading with other players. The crafting system is now more resource-intensive, requiring players to collect and manage specific materials to craft their perfect items.

The economy in Path of Exile is as complex and dynamic as its crafting system. In Path of Exile 2, however, changes have been made to make trading more accessible and to rework the currency system in ways that impact how items are valued.
Currency Changes: More Predictability
In Path of Exile 2, the currency system has been adjusted to give players more control over the value of items. Traditional orbs like Chaos Orbs, Exalted Orbs, and Divine Orbs are still in the game, but there are new currency items that allow for more specific crafting and trading. These changes provide a more predictable economy, making it easier for players to target specific affixes and build the items they need.
Regional Currencies: Some currencies are now tied to specific regions or activities, allowing for more focused farming and crafting. For instance, currencies related to delve crafting might be different from those used in boss farming, and the resources you collect might have specific purposes within those domains.
Item Trading Overhaul: One of the most important changes in Path of Exile 2’s economy is the Trade Overhaul. While trading in the original Path of Exile could sometimes feel cumbersome due to the reliance on third-party websites and in-game messaging, Path of Exile 2 introduces a more streamlined trade interface within the game. Players can now more easily see what items are available for trade, negotiate prices, and even automate certain parts of the trading process.
Item Value Adjustments
The new crafting system in Path of Exile 2 means that items will have more intrinsic value based on their potential for further modification. Instead of relying purely on the randomness of crafting, the introduction of more specific crafting options and the ability to choose affixes means that items with high potential for customization will be valued more. This may lead to a shift in the economy, as players may focus more on trading base items with good potential rather than already-crafted gear.
Gear with Perfect Affixes: As crafting becomes more predictable, items with perfect affixes (those that perfectly align with a player's build) will become much more valuable. Instead of spending exorbitant amounts of currency on trying to craft the perfect item from scratch, players can now craft their own perfect gear with greater consistency.
Legendary and Unique Items: As always, Path of Exile 2 will feature Legendary and Unique Items, but now there’s a deeper focus on item evolution. These items can be further enhanced or customized with the new crafting systems, and their value will be impacted by how well they synergize with a player’s build and Path of Exile 2 Currency the crafting options available.
