Hi there! I recently flew out of Boston Logan Southwest Terminal, and I honestly had a great experience. I know airports can be hit-or-miss, but this one felt smooth from start to finish.
I arrived about two hours before my flight, which gave me enough time to check in, go through security, and grab a bite to eat. The check-in process with Southwest was quick and painless. There were plenty of kiosks available, and the airline staff were really nice—cheerful, even that early in the morning, which I appreciated. They helped an older couple in front of me with their boarding passes and did it with genuine patience. That small moment left a really good impression on me.
Security lines were long, but surprisingly efficient. The TSA agents seemed to keep things moving without making people feel rushed or flustered. Once inside the terminal, I was glad to find it clean, relatively quiet, and well-lit. There was ample seating at the gates, and many of the seats had access to power outlets—a lifesaver when your phone's at 20%.
I grabbed a quick sandwich and coffee, and while the food options are limited compared to larger terminals, what they had was decent quality. Also, the bathrooms were spotless, which is something you don’t always see in busy airports. Boarding was handled in true Southwest style—simple, fast, and with a smile. The whole environment felt efficient but still had a personal touch, which is rare in bigger airports.
In short, the Southwest Terminal Logan is absolutely gets the job done with a lot less hassle than other places I’ve flown through. It’s clean, well-staffed, and relatively calm. I’d fly out of here again without hesitation.
