Hello, I just went to the Cathay Pacific Sydney Office, and I'm really appreciative of the team's tolerance and clarity in what might have been a very stressful circumstance.
I had a last-minute itinerary change due to a work-related emergency, and managing flight changes online was turning into a nightmare. I headed over to the office on a Friday afternoon, bracing myself for long wait times and more confusion. But the exact opposite happened.
The lady at the front desk greeted me kindly, and within 10 minutes, I was sitting with a customer service rep who calmly listened to my situation. Not only did they help me rebook my return flight to an earlier date, but they also walked me through the refund process for a segment I no longer needed.
What I really appreciated was how they explained everything—fees, fare class differences, and even what to expect at the airport. There was no jargon, just real help.
Cathay Pacific has always been my go-to for long-haul flights, but after this experience at their Sydney Office, I’m even more loyal. It’s clear their service goes beyond the aircraft—it starts on the ground with people who really care.
