At The Apptrix, we sometimes get asked if app builders like Glide, Adalo, or FlutterFlow are viable long-term solutions. For quick prototypes or internal tools, they work well. But for apps requiring complex logic or integrations, we usually recommend custom development.
We’ve encountered scaling issues, limited design flexibility, and restrictions on third-party APIs with some platforms. That said, for non-technical founders, app builders are a great way to test ideas without high upfront costs.
Has anyone here built a mobile app on an app builder and scaled it successfully? I’d love to hear your experience and advice.
