Zhewitra 60 mg, which contains a high dose of vardenafil, may cause flushing as a common side effect due to its vasodilatory action. Vardenafil works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which leads to increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). Zhewitra 60 results in the relaxation of smooth muscles and dilation of blood vessels, especially in the penile region to improve blood flow. However, this vasodilation also affects blood vessels in other parts of the body, including those near the skin's surface. As a result, users may experience redness or warmth in the face, neck, or chest — known as flushing. The intensity of flushing can be more pronounced with higher doses, such as 60 mg, due to the greater systemic exposure. While generally harmless, persistent or uncomfortable flushing should be reported to a healthcare provider, as it may signal sensitivity or the need for a dose adjustment.
