QuickBooks Error 80004 pops up when there’s a problem accessing or syncing the company file—often due to corrupted files or improper permissions. When I hit this error, I first ran QuickBooks Tool Hub, clicked on Company File Issues, and followed the prompts. It detected and fixed the problem automatically. Also, make sure QuickBooks is updated to the latest version. Sometimes this error is linked to third-party apps or anti-virus conflicts. Anyone else dealt with 80004? What worked for you—file rebuild, network diagnostics, or a full reinstall?
