My family and I traveled through Santo Domingo last month on vacation. The Southwest Airlines SDQ Terminal made our departure a stress-free experience. As a family of four with young kids, we were concerned about long waits or unclear procedures. Fortunately, the check-in process was quick, and the staff was both helpful and patient. They assisted us with stroller check-in and even suggested the best time to board with children. Inside the terminal, seating was abundant, restrooms were clean, and signs were posted in multiple languages. There were food and coffee options, along with space for the kids to unwind while we waited. The boarding gate was close by, and announcements were clear and timely. We boarded on schedule, and the gate agents ensured a smooth process by following the group boarding policy. Even during a busy travel day, everything felt organized and under control. The terminal felt modern and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. From check-in to takeoff, this airport experience was seamless and family-friendly. I would gladly recommend this terminal to other travelers using Southwest out of Santo Domingo.
