Liquids, gels, and aerosols in carry-on baggage are subject to the 100ml rule and must be contained within a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag. Duty-free liquids purchased after the security checkpoint are exempt if sealed and accompanied by a receipt. Due to the high number of unique or unusual items travelers might consider bringing, it is imperative to consult El Al's official and frequently updated list of prohibited and restricted items well in advance of your trip. Declaring hazardous materials or unusual items through El Al’s cargo department is always the safest course of action if there is any uncertainty.
