Has anyone else run into the “Intuit Data Protect Has Stopped Working” error while trying to back up QuickBooks data? I started seeing this error recently, and it’s stopping my scheduled backups. I’ve already tried restarting my PC, updating QuickBooks, and even reinstalling Intuit Data Protect, but the issue keeps coming back.

I suspect it may be related to a Windows update or a conflict with my antivirus, but I’m not sure. I’ve seen recommendations to add exceptions in the firewall and antivirus settings, and to make sure Microsoft .NET Framework is enabled.

If anyone has successfully resolved this error, I’d appreciate detailed steps or suggestions. I rely on automatic backups for my QuickBooks files, so getting Intuit Data Protect running again is a priority.
