I faced the same issue and found out that the ideal youtube cover size is 2560×1440 px. But the key thing is the central safe area, 1546×423 px, where you should place your logo and text. This ensures your banner always looks sharp and perfectly framed across desktop, TV, and mobile screens without annoying cut-offs.
