Before you can claim your loot, however, you must face the Terminus Sentinel, a massive vault boss that serves as the final challenge in this area. The Terminus Sentinel is a hybrid mechanical-organic creature, heavily armored with multiple weak points scattered across its body.
Phase 1: The Terminus Sentinel will initially attack from a distance using energy projectiles. Its large mechanical arms will smash the ground, causing shockwaves that can knock you back and deal significant damage. During this phase, focus on dodging its ranged attacks and aim for the weak points on its arms to deal damage.
Phase 2: Once the Terminus Sentinel’s armor is damaged, it will enter an enraged state, charging at you and unleashing devastating area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. This is the most dangerous phase of the fight. Keep an eye on the ground for visual cues indicating where the attacks will land. Use movement and positioning to avoid the AoE damage, and be ready to dodge any sudden charges.
Phase 3: As its health continues to drop, the Terminus Sentinel will become more unpredictable, summoning smaller enemy creatures to fight alongside it. At this stage, use crowd control abilities and explosives to handle the additional enemies. Focus on the Sentinel’s weak points, especially around its head and back, as these are its most vulnerable spots.
