In a lot of renovation jobs I’ve seen, the plumbing part is what usually messes up the budget. You start thinking it’s a small thing, then you open a wall and suddenly there’s old piping, leaks, pressure problems… all the stuff nobody planned for. Now I just prefer getting numbers from a proper plumbing estimating company before anything starts. It keeps things way more predictable.
Anyone else deal with surprise plumbing costs? Any tips or tools you use to avoid these hidden issues?
