Silagra 100 mg is a medication used primarily to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient found in Viagra. How Silagra 100 mg Works: Silagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis when a man is sexually aroused. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which can restrict blood flow. By blocking PDE5, sildenafil helps to relax the blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to flow in and facilitate an erection. When and How to Take Silagra 100 Mg Timing: It's usually taken about 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. You can take it up to 4 hours before sex, but it’s most effective when taken closer to the time of activity. Dosage: The standard starting dose for most men is 50 mg, but your doctor may prescribe 100 mg if the 50 mg dose isn’t effective. You should not take more than one dose in 24 hours. With or without food: You can take Silagra with or without food. However, fatty meals may delay its effects, so it's often better to take it on an empty stomach or after a light meal. How Long Does It Last? The effects of Silagra typically last for 4-6 hours, which gives you a window to achieve and maintain an erection, provided you are sexually aroused.
