I have recently begun to be more conscious of whether or not my reusable bags, particularly grocery bags, produce bags, and lunch bags are clean. This made me consider how a washing bag or washing procedure could be used so as to preserve the hygiene of these bags without breaking them.
Do you wash the reusable bags in machine or by hand, and to which bag type do you recommend to use? I have also heard of mesh washing bag that they use to dishwash reusable bag, but I am not convinced of its effectiveness. Do they assist in bag maintenance (shape and quality) especially insulated and structured products?
Hygiene is another question that I have. Does a washing bag make difference in cleaning efficiency, or restrain the level of bag cleaning thoroughness? Which types of detergents are most effective when used with a washing bag, particularly with the bags that have food?
Another concern is how often reusable bags should be cleaned. Should a washing bag be used for every wash, or only for delicate bags? If anyone has experience using a washing bag regularly, I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts, including any pros, cons, or helpful tips to get the best results?
