Hey everyone! I’m new to fitness and wanted to share a few things I’ve learned so far, plus get some advice. Starting out can feel confusing, but keeping things simple really helps. Most beginners do well with walking, light stretching, and basic bodyweight movements like squats, wall push-ups, and glute bridges.
Somewhere in the middle of building confidence, I realized that choosing the right exercise routines makes a big difference. Short circuits with 2–3 sets of easy moves are perfect for getting stronger without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve also tried beginner-friendly HIIT—things like 20 seconds of marching or slow jogging followed by 40 seconds of rest—which helps elevate the heart rate while staying manageable.
Adding a few minutes of mobility exercises at the end has helped me stay flexible and avoid soreness.
What other simple routines or tips would you recommend for someone who’s completely new? How did you stay motivated when you first got started? I’d love to hear your experiences!
