Acute Renal Failure is a medical condition in which the kidneys suddenly lose their ability to filter waste products and excess fluids from the blood. This condition, also known as acute kidney injury, can develop rapidly within a few hours or days. When the kidneys stop functioning properly, harmful toxins and fluid begin to accumulate in the body, which may lead to serious health complications.
Several factors can cause acute renal failure, including severe dehydration, infections, reduced blood flow to the kidneys, certain medications, or blockages in the urinary tract such as kidney stones.
