Malegra FXT Plus contains sildenafil citrate (a PDE5 inhibitor) and fluoxetine (an SSRI). Its primary action is to improve erectile function and delay ejaculation, but its direct effect on fertility is generally indirect rather than permanent or severe.

Sildenafil does not negatively affect sperm production or testosterone levels. In some studies, PDE5 inhibitors may even slightly improve sperm motility or erectile-related fertility issues by enhancing sexual performance and enabling successful intercourse. Therefore, sildenafil itself is not considered harmful to male fertility.

Fluoxetine, however, may have a mild impact on reproductive parameters in some individuals. SSRIs can sometimes reduce libido, delay orgasm, and in certain cases may slightly affect sperm quality (such as motility or DNA fragmentation) during continuous use. These effects are usually reversible after stopping the medication.

MALEGRA FXT PLUS does not cause infertility in most users, but temporary changes in sexual desire or performance may indirectly influence the chances of conception. If a couple is actively trying to conceive and faces difficulty, a doctor may consider adjusting the antidepressant component or switching therapy.

Overall, the effect on fertility is usually mild, reversible, and individual-dependent. Long-term fertility concerns should be evaluated by a healthcare professional, especially if usage is continuous or combined with other medications or underlying medical conditions affecting reproductive health.
