The pawanmuktasana procedure is simple and easy to follow, making this yoga pose suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Also known as the Wind-Relieving Pose, Pawanmuktasana is mainly practiced to improve digestion, reduce bloating, and relax the lower back.To begin the pawanmuktasana procedure, lie flat on your back on a yoga mat with your legs stretched out and arms resting beside your body. Slowly bend both knees and bring them toward your chest. Wrap your arms around your knees and gently hug them close to your body. If comfortable, lift your head and try to touch your forehead or nose to your knees.Hold this position for 20–30 seconds while breathing deeply and slowly. Afterward, release your legs gently and relax. Repeating the pawanmuktasana procedure 3–5 times daily may help improve digestion, flexibility, and overall body relaxation.
