looking at a massive wall of plain text in your notes app makes it impossible to find anything quickly. your eyes just glaze over and important tasks get lost because everything looks exactly the same. i was struggling to sort out my study guides last semester and it was driving me crazy. then i discovered a website called thecoolsymbol and started using it to clean things up. i grabbed a neat checkmark and a tiny folder icon to color code my headers. using that cool symbol for each section made my notes instantly skimmable and way easier to study.
