Wulanhada Volcano Geopark is one of the most spectacular volcanic landscapes in northern parts of China, found in the Ulanqab region of Inner Mongolia. It is part of a geologically young volcanic field shaped by millions of years of geological activity, leaving behind an distinct concentration of volcanic cones, lava flows, and craters. Unlike ordinary mountain landscapes primarily carved by erosion, this geopark is shaped by volcanic origins, which gives the land a dramatic, almost surreal look.
