Choosing to hire an illustrator for a children's book is an important step in bringing your story to life. Look for an illustrator with experience creating artwork for children's books and review their portfolio to ensure their style matches your vision. Before you hire an illustrator, discuss your project's age group, characters, timeline, budget, and revision process to make sure you're both aligned on expectations. Clear communication and a detailed agreement can help ensure a smooth collaboration. Have you hired an illustrator for a children's book before, or are you planning your first project? Share your experiences, tips, or questions with the community.
