Has anyone here had success with professional diesel injector cleaning instead of replacing the injectors? My mechanic says they might just be clogged, while another shop recommends installing new injectors. I’d like to know what worked for others, especially on high-mileage Cummins, Detroit, or Caterpillar engines. Is cleaning worth trying first, or does it only provide a temporary fix? Any maintenance tips to extend injector life would also be helpful. best truck shop
