If your TP-Link Deco shows a status but you still cannot browse the web the problem might be related to your modem, network settings or internet service. Many users searching for TP Link Deco not connecting to internet experience this issue after changing ISPs, updating firmware, or installing a new Deco unit.
Start by turning off your modem then turn off your Deco unit. Wait until the modem is fully online before turning on the Deco. Make sure the Ethernet cable is properly connected between the modems LAN port and the Decos WAN port. If the internet still does not work, go to Deco.login to check your WAN connection settings. Make sure the connection type is the same as what your ISP requires, like Dynamic IP, PPPoE or Static IP.
Then look at the LED on your Deco. A solid green light usually means everything is working fine. A red light means there is a problem. Updating the Deco firmware can also fix issues that stop the internet from working. If your ISP needs an username and password make sure those are correct.
If TP Link Deco not connecting to internet still happens try connecting a computer to the modem. If the computer also has no internet the problem is probably, with your ISP and not the Deco system. As a step do a factory reset only after you have tried everything else. Then set up your network again using Deco.login. These simple steps can help get your internet quickly and keep your TP-Link Deco mesh network working well.
