Flushing (warmth or redness of the face, neck, or chest) is one of the most common side effects of Fildena, which contains sildenafil. This happens because sildenafil widens blood vessels, increasing blood flow not only where it's intended to work but also in the skin. Other common side effects include: Headache Nasal congestion Indigestion or upset stomach Dizziness Mild changes in vision (such as a blue tinge or increased light sensitivity) Flushing is usually: Mild Temporary (often lasting a few hours) More noticeable soon after FILDENA the medication You should seek medical care promptly if flushing is accompanied by: Chest pain Difficulty breathing Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat Fainting or severe dizziness An erection lasting more than 4 hours If the flushing is bothersome but otherwise mild, your prescribing clinician may be able to adjust the dose or discuss alternative treatments. If you're asking because you've taken Fildena and are experiencing flushing, tell me: What strength did you take (e.g. 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg)? When did you take it? Is flushing your only symptom, or are you also having headache, dizziness, rash, or anything else?
