For heavy manufacturing units, pure solar often falls short during night shifts. We are looking into a wind solar hybrid system to improve our Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF). Does anyone have a running solar wind hybrid power plant? I’m interested in knowing if the shared Balance of System (BoS) costs actually lead to better long-term savings compared to standalone solar + storage.
