Avana 50 mg contains avanafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Sweating is not among the most common adverse effects reported with avanafil. Clinical studies more commonly reported headache, flushing, nasal congestion, nasopharyngitis, and back pain.

However, sweating could occur indirectly if avanafil causes flushing, dizziness, or a temporary drop in blood pressure. These effects may be more noticeable after taking the medicine, particularly when combined with alcohol or other medicines that lower blood pressure.

AVANA 50 MG may be used in certain circumstances, including for people taking stable alpha-blocker therapy. It should generally be taken no more than once in 24 hours.

If sweating is mild and temporary, monitor it and mention it to your doctor or pharmacist if it keeps happening. Heavy sweating accompanied by dizziness, fainting, chest pain, weakness, or difficulty breathing requires prompt medical assessment, as these symptoms may indicate a more serious problem.

Avanafil must not be combined with nitrate medicines, such as nitroglycerin, because this combination can cause a potentially dangerous fall in blood pressure.

If you experience sweating after Avana 50 mg, consider whether you also consumed alcohol or took another medicine at the same time, and discuss the combination with a healthcare professional.
