Comparing three proposals right now and honestly they read nothing alike even though we asked all three the exact same question.
One vendor is proposing a fully autonomous setup, another wants to build something with heavy human review built in, and the third barely explained their technical approach at all. Makes me wonder if AI agent development solutions just genuinely vary this much or if some of these teams don't actually know what they're doing.
We're a small team so whatever we pick needs to be manageable without a dedicated AI person watching it constantly.
Trying to sort through:
Whether autonomy level should be our decision or something the vendor recommends based on our use case
How to evaluate technical depth when the proposals themselves sound so different from each other
Would appreciate hearing how others made sense of this when comparing vendors for the first time.
