NeoDx HBV Qualitative RT-PCR Detection Kit is an in vitro multiplex, single-tube, TaqMan probe-based real-time PCR assay for specific detection of Hepatitis B virus. The assay uses Beta Actin as an internal control and supports whole blood, serum, and plasma samples. It provides an analytical sensitivity of 32 IU/mL (179.2 copies/mL), a 90-minute PCR run time, and compatibility with open RT-PCR platforms. The assay references the 4th WHO International Standard for HBV DNA for NAT, NIBSC code 10/266.
