Been viewing this problem appear a whole lot lately, therefore realized I'd reveal what I've found after having a several visits (and several mistakes along the way).
Honestly, there's not one "best" selection — it certainly is dependent upon who's traveling and for how long. For an instant over night darshan journey, I'd only choose a simple Serviced Apartments in Shirdi near to the temple. Such a thing fancier is kind of lost if you're only there for 12-14 hours.
But when you're using family, or staying higher than a day or two, I'd really consider an apartment-style keep around a typical lodge room. We did this on our last journey (a 2BHK, five folks including my parents) and it made an apparent difference. Everyone had their particular room, we cooked morning meal several mornings rather than hunting for a cafe at 6am, and genuinely by time 2 no body was annoying from being cramped in one single lodge room. Small point, however it adds up.
A couple of things I'd tell anybody comparing possibilities:
Distance to the Samadhi Mandir issues more than persons think, particularly when you're performing both morning and night darshan. Check the specific go, not just the amount on Google Maps — some "5 min away" places are along busy streets that sense longer.
If you're traveling solo or as a couple, don't overbook. A 1BHK is genuinely plenty for 1-2 persons and you're perhaps not paying for room you won't use.
Kitchen access is underrated. Even although you don't cook correct foods, being able to produce tea or store some fruit/snacks preserves you from going out constantly, particularly with young ones or elderly parents.
Study new opinions, not just the star score — persons usually note specific things like noise or whether the kitchen really has cookware, that the record images won't tell you.
Something that surprised me was simply how much a "completely furnished" draw may differ between properties. Generally value messaging the variety beforehand to confirm fundamentals are now actually included (linens, cookware, etc.) as opposed to assuming.
Would be curious to listen to what the others discovered of good use — did anybody try repaired apartments vs regular resorts and detect a real big difference? Also ready to accept guidelines for family-sized places close to the temple if anybody has kept somewhere they'd really return to.
