Curtains do not necessarily need to match the sofa exactly. In fact, using slightly different but complementary colors can make a room look more layered and professionally designed.
For example, a beige sofa can work well with cream, light brown, grey, or textured neutral curtains. Similarly, a darker sofa can be balanced with lighter curtains to prevent the room from looking too heavy.
I usually recommend matching the overall color palette rather than trying to find curtains in exactly the same shade as the sofa.
