Hello everyone. I am tired of buying through middle brokers who tack on heavy markups and cannot answer simple technical questions about production schedules. I want to work straight with an actual production facility to source solid gold inventory. Has anyone successfully made the leap from wholesale brokers to direct factory manufacturing? What kind of initial volume or order setup do they typically require from an independent store?

You get direct access to their actual production schedule, meaning no unexpected backorders right before busy seasons. The unit pricing is much lower because there are no middleman fees, and you can talk directly to people who know the casting process. Many domestic facilities are actually very welcoming to independent retailers if you order consistently.
