So we run a golf and cultural club, about 2,400 members, and for decades our admin group was sinking in renewal paperwork, billing follow-ups, and physically balancing tee time conflicts. It got to the level where we were significantly considering selecting yet another full-time admin only to help keep up.
Alternatively we went by having an AI Club Management Software startup, and genuinely it's been the most effective working choice we've made in a while. It handles renewals, draws billing problems before members also detect, and auto-resolves many arrangement conflicts that used to consume up my Wednesday mornings. Our admin group went from continually enjoying catch-up to really having time to program events and talk to members again.
It's perhaps not magic though. We however had a tough couple days finding our old member information cleaned up and imported correctly, and several older members grumbled about "yet another app" at first. But three months in, staff morale is substantially better and we haven't had a single double-booked tee time since.
Would love to know from anybody managing a bigger club, does that stuff range well after you're past the 5,000 member tag, or does it begin wanting more hand-holding?
