I’m trying to decide on the best area to stay in amsterdam for a short vacation. Since I’ll be visiting several attractions, having convenient access to public transportation is important to me. At the same time, I’d like to stay somewhere with restaurants and interesting places nearby. Amsterdam has several neighborhoods that seem suitable, so it’s difficult to choose based only on accommodation listings. What areas have worked well for other travelers, and what should I consider before booking?
