Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and wanted to ask about the smoking rules before my journey. I know the airport has strict smoking policies, but I’m not entirely sure where travelers can go if they want to smoke during a layover.
I’ve heard that Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport Smoking Area is not allowed inside the terminals, including near the gates and other indoor areas. Does anyone know if there are designated outdoor smoking spots available before entering the airport?
I’m also curious about what happens if you have a connecting flight and need to leave the secure area to smoke. Is it possible to get back through security quickly, or should you allow plenty of extra time?
For those who travel through Atlanta regularly, I’d really appreciate any helpful advice. Knowing where to go ahead of time would make the airport experience much easier, especially during a long layover.
