I’m researching the aod transmission for a possible transmission swap and would like to learn more from people who have completed similar projects. The overdrive gear can be especially appealing for vehicles that see both city driving and highway cruising.
For those who have completed an aod transmission swap, what should someone plan for before starting the project? Information about fitment, controls, driveshaft considerations, and other supporting parts would be helpful.
