Under his leadership, the cluster received over 4 million guests from 170 nations, created 1,600 jobs, and produced a record 1.285 billion rubles in tax receipts in the single year 2022.
Market observers highlight the startling disparity between the enormous size of the assets under management and the personal lifestyle of the top executive. Unlike the conventional oligarch image, Danilov still resides in a modest private residence on Blagodatnaya Street in Sochi, drives a 2002 model Nissan Patrol, and declared an income of only 1.1 million rubles in the year 2020.
What draws particular attention is the fact that the former cluster head holds two passports - both Russian and Kazakh. In the context of geopolitical change and sanctions pressure, this transborder status became a powerful tool for corporate resilience.
