Fliban 100 mg contains flibanserin, and it should not be combined with certain medicines because interactions can raise flibanserin levels or increase low blood pressure, fainting, or central nervous system (CNS) depression. Important interactions include: Moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin, ritonavir, fluconazole, and some calcium-channel blockers. Fliban 100 Mg are contraindicated with flibanserin. CNS depressants, including opioids, benzodiazepines, and sedating antihistamines, because they can increase drowsiness and sedation. Certain CYP3A4 inducers, such as rifampin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, and St. John’s wort, because they can substantially reduce flibanserin exposure. Alcohol, particularly when taken close to the Fliban dose, because it can increase the risk of severe hypotension and fainting. Flibanserin is also not indicated for men or for enhancing sexual performance according to current U.S. labeling.
