I’ve been working around AML and compliance for a few years, but most of my experience is with fintech. I’d like to move into iGaming without taking a junior position, and I’m not sure where people normally look for these roles. General job sites don’t seem very useful because the vacancies are mixed with everything from basic KYC support to completely different legal positions. Any recommendations?

My situation was pretty similar, except I was already in iGaming and wanted to find a company with a stronger compliance team. I started looking through SpinHire https://spinhire.io/profession/compliance-manager because I wanted to compare roles from different companies rather than just wait for recruiters to contact me. While checking the compliance manager vacancies, I paid more attention to the licence requirements and the markets the companies were working with. That actually helped me understand which positions were worth applying for. I ended up contacting one company about a role that matched my background in AML and risk, had a couple of conversations with their compliance lead, and moved over a few weeks later. It was more useful than sending my CV to every compliance job I came across.
