Fildena 100 mg are usually caused by the way its active ingredient, sildenafil, affects blood flow and an enzyme in the eye called PDE6. Fildena 100 mg is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Although sildenafil mainly works by increasing blood flow to the penis, it can also affect the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of your eye. What causes the vision changes? PDE6 inhibition: Sildenafil also inhibits an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 6 (PDE6) in the retina. This can temporarily alter how your eyes process light and Fildena 100 Mg . Changes in color perception: You may notice a blue tint to objects or have difficulty distinguishing blue from green. Light sensitivity: Bright lights may seem more intense than usual. Blurred vision: Your vision may become slightly blurry or seem less sharp. Changes in light perception: Some people notice halos or unusual brightness. These effects are more likely at higher doses. Fildena 100 mg is a high, commonly prescribed dose of sildenafil, and visual side effects may be more noticeable at this dose than at lower doses. In clinical trials of sildenafil, abnormal vision was reported in approximately 11% of people taking 100 mg, compared with about 1% taking a placebo. These effects were generally mild and temporary. DailyMed When are vision changes dangerous? A rare but serious problem called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) can cause sudden, potentially permanent vision loss. A direct causal link with sildenafil has not been established, but the reported association warrants caution.
